Ever tasted a farm fresh chicken? Our certified organic broilers are something special. After their first 2 weeks inside, they move outside onto pasture for the remainder of their lives. They are moved onto fresh green grass everyday and fed only non-GMO organic grain. These chickens are raised and processed entirely on our farm the old fashioned way. No antibiotics, no growth hormones and no trucking to distant poultry processors. Fresh chickens will be available every 2 weeks throughout the summer. Each chicken averages 5 pounds and yields 4-6 servings of meat and 6-8 quarts of broth. In addition to our fresh chickens, we will stock frozen chickens in our farmstand as well.
